Thinking About Selling Your Business?

You built something real. Now you're wondering what comes next.

I help Northeast Ohio business owners figure out what comes next. Whether that's selling, partnering or taking things to the next level. I like essential businesses that focus on dirty jobs.

Let's Talk About it

Metamorphosis Holdings

I buy businesses and partner with owners. I like essential businesses that focus on dirty jobs. I like industries that others may call boring because they're consistent and make money. I am in this for the long haul and do things the right way, don't cut corners and treat people well. I know folks that have been successful, who share their knowledge and experience. They have resources too. In the end, I want to create value for owners, employees and communities.

Sound Familiar?

Growth feels harder than it used to

The business depends too much or entirely on you. You're working IN the business instead of ON the business – and you're tired.

You've been doing this for a few decades

You know you need systems, technology and help – but there's no time to figure it out while you're running everything.

And now you're wondering...

What is this thing actually worth? What are my options? What happens to my people if I step away?

You're not sure about retirement. But you're thinking about what's next.

Let's chat

Is This Right For You?

Probably a GOOD fit if...

Probably a GOOD fit if...

Probably a GOOD fit if...

  • You own a closely held or family-run business
  • You're based in or near Northeast Ohio
  • Your business is essential and focuses on dirty jobs (liquid waste, pest services, restoration, etc.) or fits into manufacturing/industrial
  • You've been at it for awhile,  10, 20, 30 years plus
  • You care what happens to your employees and customers after you step away
  • You're open to options – selling, partnering or something in between
  • You want straight talk, someone who does what they say

Probably NOT a fit if...

Probably a GOOD fit if...

Probably a GOOD fit if...

  • You don't care what happens to the business after you're gone
  • You want the highest bidder, no questions asked
  • You're looking for a quick flip

What This Could Look Like For You

1. Collect money upfront

3. Your spouse takes a step back

2. Keep doing the work you love

...and the chance to grow what's left into more over time.

2. Keep doing the work you love

3. Your spouse takes a step back

2. Keep doing the work you love

Hand off the parts you don't - like answering the phones, scheduling, billing, chasing payments, all of it.

3. Your spouse takes a step back

3. Your spouse takes a step back

3. Your spouse takes a step back

Your employees stay. Your customers keep getting the service they have come to expect.

4. Upgrading systems

5. Should I stay or should I go?

3. Your spouse takes a step back

Systems and technology you've needed but never had the time to put in place. That get's handled.

5. Should I stay or should I go?

5. Should I stay or should I go?

5. Should I stay or should I go?

Stay involved for a few more years if you want. Or step back and let someone else carry it forward.

Finally...

5. Should I stay or should I go?

5. Should I stay or should I go?

You get options. Real ones.

On your timeline.

Metamorphosis Process

A butterfly transforms in weeks, a business transition can take months. Here's how we work together:

1. Exploration

We start with a conversation. I want to understand your business, what you're worried about and what matters most to you. No pitch, no pressure. We figure out if there's a fit.

2. Alignment

If it makes sense to keep talking, we get into the details. What's your business worth? What structure works for you? What are your options? We agree on the path forward before signing a letter of intent.

3. Transition

We complete due diligence, finalize terms and the transition occurs. We do things the right way to make sure your employees are taken care of and the business continues as normal.

I'm Marko Turcinov

What I Do: I buy businesses and partner with owners across Northeast Ohio. I like essential businesses that focus on dirty jobs (liquid waste pumping, pest services, restoration, etc.) - and other industries that some may call boring, because they're consistent and make money. Some owners want to sell outright, some want a partner to help take things to the next level. I help you figure out which path makes sense for you.

Some Background: Yes, I'm a finance guy. I know how to read financial statements and value a business. But that's not the whole story....

My grandparents came to Cleveland from Bosnia and Croatia with their families and no money. Both grandmothers were cleaners, one grandfather worked in a shop, the other was a carpenter. Sacrifice and hard work is non-negotiable. When it was my turn, I started at the bottom (shaking lemonades for Nick's Gyros at carnivals) and worked my way to the top (Managing Director at UBS). I worked just as hard at swimming and got a college scholarship, hall of fame recognition and a lifetime of lessons.

So when I sit across from someone who's spent decades building a business, I get it. You have built something real. You want to know it's going to be in good hands.

I launched Metamorphosis Holdings in the fall of 2024 to bet on myself after my first chapter came to a close. When not working, I shuttle my kids to practice and help out at St. Rita's or the LESD Swim Team.

Why The Name?

Three Reasons

1. Business Rationale

I want to build on the solid foundation you have laid over the past few decades to position and grow your business for the next 20 years plus.

2. The Butterfly

As a swimmer I was a flyer - when picking the name, I wanted something with meaning. A butterfly undergoes metamorphosis...you get the idea.

3. It's Personal

When my wife and I first started dating, we listened to a Philip Glass album, Solo Piano. First few tracks are called Metamorphosis. It took me a few months to connect the dots. Once I did, the name was set.
